Ekaterina Ominina - Modern Artist

Ekaterina is an artist with extensive experience in various areas of art, including painting, graphics, and ceramics. Over the past few decades, she has participated in and organized exhibitions, creative symposia, and other international art programs.

"As an artist, I find inspiration in both the natural world and the rich mythology of ancient Greece. My work spans a variety of mediums, including painting, graphic design, and ceramic and porcelain painting plates techniques. These different mediums allow me to explore different aspects of my artistic vision and bring my ideas to life in unique ways.

In my paintings, I often focus on the beauty and complexity of Northern nature. I am fascinated by the way that light and shadow play across the landscape, and I strive to capture this interplay in my work. Through my use of color and brushstrokes, I aim to create images that convey a sense of movement, energy, and life.

My ceramic and porcelain painting plates are another important aspect of my artistic practice. These works often depict boats, which for me represent the relationship between people and the element of water. Whether sailing across a calm sea or battling through stormy waters, boats embody the thrill and adventure of human exploration. Through my plates, I hope to capture this sense of excitement and possibility, inviting viewers to imagine themselves on their own voyage of discovery.

Overall, my work is driven by a passion for storytelling and a desire to connect with others through art. Whether through my paintings or my ceramic and porcelain works, I aim to create images that are both beautiful and thought-provoking, inviting viewers to reflect on their own experiences and perspectives."
